What does a Naloxone Peer Educator do?

Carrying naloxone can mean the difference between life and death and people shouldn’t have to go out of their way to get it.

PBHRWA has been supplying Take Home Naloxone to our community for more than a decade at our fixed-sites in Perth and Bunbury and through our outreach services. Hundreds of people who have accessed PBHRWA services now carry naloxone and know how to respond to an opioid overdose with confidence - but what about people who don’t access our services?

As a Naloxone Peer Educator you will learn to teach people in the wider community how to use naloxone so we can deliver it to their door. You will receive expert training and all the one-on-one support you need to help us get naloxone to people who need it..

Who are we looking for?

Are you someone who uses opioids and knows lots of other people that do?

We’d like to talk to you about volunteering!
