RECRUITMENT CALL for Committee of Management Members

Peer Based Harm Reduction WA is seeking to recruit interested persons for appointment to the Committee of Management (COM).  Peer Based Harm Reduction WA is an accredited, not-for-profit, peer-based harm reduction organisation that works to advance the health, dignity and social justice of people who use drugs in Western Australia.   Peer Based Harm Reduction provides peer-based support, information and education, advocacy and harm reduction services, including those that aim to reduce the transmission of blood-borne viruses and sexually transmissible infections associated with drug use.

This is a voluntary appointment, members holding the position for a 2 year term.  COM members meet monthly to progress the organizational purpose and strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring financial viability and compliance with legislative and contractual duties and obligations. This is an opportunity to join an organisation that is highly valued within the Western Australian alcohol and other drugs sector.
