Strength in Community

Experiencing issues related to your use of alcohol and/or other drugs?

Problems with your mental health?

Located around the City of Stirling?

Need help to access health services?

Know of a friend or family member who wants support?

We are here to help.

We want to support people experiencing difficulties to become empowered, independent and healthy, regardless of their choice to use alcohol or other drugs.

Project aim

Our aim is to connect vulnerable and disadvantaged people, including Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) people with the community, providing service integration with existing providers; improved flexible access to services; and to provide adaptive service provision, including outreach, after hours, and potential transport to place-based services where outreach is not practical.

We want to reduce any existing barriers for vulnerable and disadvantaged people to access the services they need, when they need them.

Consumers are also offered the use of our services for free, which include Sexually Transmitted Infections and Blood Borne Virus testing, vaccines and treatments, Naloxone training, Alcohol and Other Drugs harm reduction services, education, and information.  We also aim to provide appropriate referrals to specific services who provide similar, non-judgmental and friendly support.

Consumers do not need to provide ID or extensive personal information to access this service.

We respect your confidentiality and privacy.
