Strength in Community

Stirling Empowerment Project

Experiencing problems with your mental health?

Use alcohol or other drugs?

Located around the City of Stirling?

Need help to access health services?

We are here to help.

We want to support people experiencing difficulties to become empowered, independent and healthy,

regardless of their choice to use alcohol or other drugs.

Project aim

Our aim is to connect CaLD mental health consumers with the community, providing service integration with existing providers; improved flexible access to services; and to provide adaptive service provision, including outreach, after hours, and potential transport to place-based services where outreach is not practical.

We want to reduce any existing barriers for CaLD people with mental health problems to access health services.

Consumers are also offered the use of our services for free, which include STI and BBV testing, vaccines and treatments, Naloxone training, AOD harm minimization and other general health concerns. We also aim to provide appropriate referrals to specific services who provide similar, non-judgmental and friendly support.

Consumers do not need to provide ID or extensive personal information to access this service.

We respect your confidentiality and privacy.
